Joint Baltic Sea and Latvian Tourism Forum 2018 | “On the edge of change”

For the 11th time in a row tourism stakeholders convene at the annual conference to discuss trends and developments in the Baltic Sea region.

This year the international exchange will be combined with the Latvian Tourism Forum to create a large-scale gathering of tourism professionals and motivational speakers. The particular time is dedicated to the Centenary celebration of the Republic of Latvia.

Focused on the exciting yet challenging times of change in tourism and politics, the forum will address the topic how to be prepared for these changes in order to make travelling better, smarter and more valuable – for visitors, locals, heritage, and nature.The forum serves as an international platform to discuss, meet, present and network for valuable scenarios all can use.

The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and the Ministry of Economics of Latvia will host the joint conference in close cooperation with the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Board, Policy Area Tourism of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, and Baltic Sea Tourism Center as constant organisers of the Forum.
